Mary D’Alimonte joined Results for Development (R4D) in 2014 and has dedicated her work to strengthening systems for nutrition and supporting government stakeholders that lead nutrition programming in low- and middle-income countries.
As a program director on R4D’s nutrition team, Ms. D’Alimonte leads analytic work on the integration of nutrition within routine health services in alignment with UHC goals, with a focus on sustainable financing for nutrition. She works with colleagues in the nutrition community to develop standardized and sustainable methods to track resources for nutrition across sectors to support taking cost-effective interventions to scale.
Ms. D’Alimonte holds an MPH in social and behavioral sciences and global health from the Yale School of Public Health and a BS in human biology from the University of Toronto. She has lived and worked in Bangladesh, India and Ethiopia conducting policy and program research.
